Password Reset

Users must log into their Fleetio account with a password. The User's login credentials may be established with either a username, an email address, or both.

There are three common Password Reset scenarios:

  1. Reset Your Own Password via Email - If the User forgets their password and has an email address associated with their Account, they may initiate their own Reset.
  2. Reset Another User's Password - If the User only has a username, they must contact their Account Owner or Administrator for assistance.
  3. Reset Your Own Password from Your Account - If the User can still log in successfully but wishes to Reset an existing password, they may do so from within their Account.

Instructions for each situation are detailed below.

NOTE: when a password expires, or otherwise needs to be reset, change the password to one which is different from that which was used just previously! If you wish to re-use a previously-used password, change to a temporary password, then revert to the desired previous password.
