Fleetio's Tire Management module allows you to bulk import tires to vehicles. To learn more about data imports, check out our Data Import Overview Guide.
IMPORTANT: Tire Management is only available if you have the Premium Fleetio Plan.
Tire Import Template
To get started, use the Tire Import Template.
- Go to the + Quick Add menu and select Import Data.
- Click Browse Import Templates.
- In the Import Templates pop-up, click Tire in the left menu.
- Click the Download drop-down for the Tire template and select Empty Template.
Data Requirements
Be sure to note the Required section and columns in the charts below.
Columns marked Yes are always Required, whereas those marked No may be left as blank cells in the import file - the entire column can be skipped during the mapping process if it is omitted for all rows.
Columns & Values
These fields are required for Tire Imports unless otherwise noted.

| position | Yes - unless removing a tire. | Position cannot be for an axle that exceeds the total number of axles on a vehicle. For example, ‘3LO’ cannot be used for a 4x2 vehicle. The only valid position values for trailers with 2 tires per axle are LEFT and RIGHT. If a tire is currently installed at the position indicated, users must first remove the tire manually or via import. |
