With Fleetio Go, you can use your phone or tablet to manage Tools, including adding and editing Tools and managing Tool assignments.
View and Add Tools
Access the Tools Index by tapping Browse in the bottom menu, then tapping Tools. You can only see Tools you have permission to view.

In the Index, you can:
- Tap the + (a) to add a new Tool
- Tap the Search bar (b) to search for a specific Tool record
- Tap the Barcode Scanner (c) to quickly scan a Tool Barcode/QR Code
- Use the Filters (d) to sort the list and narrow the results shown

Tap on a Tool record to view its details screen.
Here, you can view important details, such as Users Watching the Tool, if the Tool is linked to a particular Vehicle or assigned to a User, and if there are any logged Issues.

Check Out/In Tools
If the Tool piece is not assigned to anyone, tap Check Out (a) to assign it to yourself. The More Actions Button (b) also has the option to assign Tools to another contact.

If you are already assigned to the Tool, tap Check In to unassign yourself.

Other Tool Actions
You can also complete the following actions on the Tool Details screen:
Update the Tool Status (a), change the Tool Group (b), or view the current Watchers (c).

Tap Edit to update other details, such as the Name, Brand, linked Vehicle, or any Custom Fields.
TIP: Custom Fields are fields created by your organization to gather and track additional information and may be required depending on their settings. If you have a question about a Custom Field, contact your Account Owner or Administrator.

Tap the More Actions Button to Assign the Tool to another Contact, watch or unwatch the Tool, Archive it, or encode an NFC Tag.

At the bottom of the Tool Details screen, tap Issues, Comments, Photos, or Documents to view or add (including @mentioning other Users in a comment).

When an Issue is added, it will show up in the Issues list, as well as the Issues section for the Tool record.
Tap into the Issue to resolve or close it.Tap Last Known Location to view a map of the most recent location of the Tool.
