ClearQuote uses artificial intelligence (AI) to analyze smartphone videos/images to identify and assess vehicle damage.
With the API integration, if damage to a vehicle is found using ClearQuote, an issue will be created for the vehicle in Fleetio.
What You Need to Know
ClearQuote uses the Vehicle ID to match vehicles. Retrieve IDs by exporting your vehicle information or utilizing Fleetio's API.
Issues are added to Fleetio in real-time, which can lead to several updates each day, depending on your fleet size.
Integration Setup

Create an API key in Fleetio
Follow the Fleetio API Keys guide to generate a key and access your account token. -
Contact ClearQuote Onboarding
Contact hello@clearquote.io and provide your API key and account token to the ClearQuote onboarding team. They will assist in setting up the integration, which includes:- Creating your ClearQuote account
- Setting up locations
- Getting your vehicle details from Fleetio and creating those vehicles in ClearQuote
