Public Inspection Submission Link
A Public Inspection Submission Link enables any Fleetio Inspection Form to be submitted without logging into Fleetio. This can be useful for fleets with high turnover or employees that do not need access to all Inspection features. Using a Public Inspection Submission Link does not require employees to have a Fleetio User account.
To generate a Public Inspection Submission Link:
- Click Inspections in the Sidebar Navigation, then click Forms.
- Locate the desired Inspection Form, click the More Actions Button, and select Share Submission Link.
NOTE: Inspection Forms that prevent the use of stored photos cannot generate a Public Inspection Submission Link.
- You can manage your Public Inspection Submission Link here by copying the link to share with other employees (a). If you would like to prevent future submissions with the Public Link, it can be removed by clicking Remove Link (b).
- When you're finished, click Done.
You can follow these same steps again if you need to copy the link in the future.
IMPORTANT: Anyone with access to this link can submit the Inspection Form. Do not place any information into the inspection form that you wish to keep private.
Submitting an Inspection with the Public Link
After the first submission using the Public Inspection Submission Link, Fleetio will automatically create a Guest User to attribute the Inspection Submissions to. This user is available in the Fleetio user interface, but only functions to allow submissions with the public link.
