Fleetio accommodates the needs of organizations that operate in different countries, in multiple regions, or across time zones.
Configure various settings at the Account and/or User level and ensure that data imports are properly formatted for accurate data recording.
Date Format
Date format settings are available in your Account Settings.
- Go to your Account Menu and select Settings.

- Click General Settings in the Settings sidebar.
- In the Regional Settings section, use the Short Date Format drop-down to select how dates are displayed in Fleetio. This setting will affect all Users.

- Scroll to the bottom of the page and click the Save Account button.
Time Format
To change how the time is displayed for Users in Fleetio:
- Navigate to Regional Settings as shown above.
- Choose either 12-hour clock or 24-hour clock under Time Format.
- Scroll to the bottom of the page and click the Save Account button.
Time Zone
Time zone settings are available for configuration at both the Account and User levels.
Account Settings
- Go to your Account Menu and select Settings.

- Click General Settings in the Settings sidebar.
- Scroll to Regional Settings and select the Time Zone from the drop-down menu.
This will become the default Time Zone for all new Users and may be adjusted by each User individually via their User Settings.

- Scroll to the bottom of the page and click the Save Account button.
User Settings
Setting the User's time zone lets Fleetio know how to store the data in the database so the information will be correct for all viewers. Fleetio will display all times in the User's local time - even in records created by other Users.
- Go to your Profile Menu and select Login & Password:

- Under the Login Information tab, use the Time Zone drop-down to select a Time Zone.

- Click the Update button to save your changes.
