Fleet Advisor Hub - Add a New Account

IMPORTANT: The Fleet Advisor Hub is currently in closed beta and only available to select Partners.
 

PERMISSIONS: Only advisors with the following permissions can create Accounts:

 

To add a new account to the Fleet Advisor Hub:

  1. Click Accounts in the Sidebar Navigation.

  1. Click the + Add Account button in the top right.

  1.  Fill out the New Account form starting with Account Details:

Account Details

Add the Account Details:

  • Account Name (required) - The name of the account. This is how it will appear in Fleetio.
  • Fleet Agent(s) - Select the Fleet Agent(s) to be assigned to the account.
  • Industry - Use the drop-down to select the primary industry of the account.
  • Labels - Select Labels to apply to the account.
  • Logo - Upload a logo for the Account. Only PNG, GIF, JPG, and TIFF files are supported.

In-App Onboarding Guide

The In-App Onboarding Guide offers an interactive walkthrough to help new account owners quickly learn Fleetio's key features and get their fleet up and running. 

  • Select Yes, show the guide to enable the Onboarding Guide (Recommended for new users)
  • Select No, skip the guide to skip the Onboarding Guide, and allow the account owner to discover Fleetio on their own

Subscription Plan

Choose a Plan for the account. 

NOTE: Accounts can only be onboarded to a Professional or Premium plan through the Fleet Advisor Hub. Click here to learn more about Fleetio's Plans.

 

Account Owner

Next, add the information for the Account Owner. The Account Owner is the primary point of contact and highest level administrator of the account.

TIP: You can learn more in the Fleetio Account Ownership Policy article.

 
  • First Name (required) - The Account Owner's first name.
  • Last Name (required) - The Account Owner's last name.
  • Email Address (required) - The Account Owner's email address. They will use this to log into Fleetio.

User Access

The User Access section allows you to choose how the Account Owner receives their login information.

If you choose Send email invitation, the Account Owner will receive an email with a link to create their own password.

  • Select Send Later to delay the email invitation and send the invitation manually at a later time.
  • Select Send Now to automatically send the invitation once you've completed this form.
  • You also have the option to type a custom message with the email invitation.

If you choose Set password manually, you will be prompted to create a password for the Account Owner and share it with them directly.

  • Passwords must be at least eight characters and contain a numeric character (0-9) and a special character (!, %, @, #, etc.)
  • Click Generate secure password to automatically generate a password

When you're finished, click the Save Account button. 

  • If you choose to send an email invitation to the Account Owner, it will be sent when you click Save Account.
